Sarah Ross, the new director of the Norwalk Economic Development Corporation (NEDC), recently presented to Norwalk City Council on the organization’s economic development activity, the Sandusky Register reports. The NEDC, a private-public nonprofit, “works to identify and capitalize on opportunities to continuously improve the area’s business base,” according to the article. Ross recently worked on a JobsOhio Inclusion Grant project, “a $50,000 grant that helped create six jobs and retain 29 jobs.” Ross’s areas of expertise include business retention and expansion, entrepreneurship programming, and collective impact.
