Local governments in Warren County make a change in development partner

Warren County’s six chambers of commerce have “united and asked development agency REDI Cincinnati to represent them in attracting new business development and retention through JobsOhio,” the Dayton Daily News reports. Martin Russell, Director of Economic Development for Warren County, said that the communities want to work together under the same development agency instead of being split between Dayton Development Coalition and REDI. Russell explained that the communities “wanted to make a move that got rid of the division inside of Warren County.” The Coalition has previously coordinated development in the Dayton and Springfield areas, including Butler County and Warren County north of Ohio 63. According to JobsOhio, the Coalition “will still lead deals to grow the region’s aerospace industry.”
