On December 1, Mark Kvamme CIO of JobsOhio, provided an update on the activities and accomplishments of JobsOhio to date. During a keynote address to the Association for Corporate Growth in Cleveland, Kvamme reported that Ohio's new privatized economic development department has created 13,517 new jobs and saved 27,500 existing jobs since its launch in July. "The jobs the organization has targeted will add $157 million in revenue for the state within a year and $2.4 billion within the decade," the Columbus Business First article reported.
