California-based Hyperion Cos. “plans to move its headquarters back to Columbus” with a nearly $300 million investment in “an operation that will employ nearly 700 workers developing hydrogen fuel cells,” The Columbus Dispatch reports. The facility “to research and manufacture hydrogen fuel cell stacks” will create “more than 680 jobs over the next six years, with an annual payroll of up to $58 million,” according to the article. Hyperion CEO Angelo Kafantaris, a native of Warren, Ohio, co-founded Hyperion in Columbus in 2011.
