Honda executive on loan to lead OSU’s manufacturing institute for two years
Rich Spivey, senior manager of the Marysville-based arm of Honda Motor Co. Ltd., will serve as the first full-time executive director of the Ohio Manufacturing Institute (OMI) at Ohio State University, Columbus Business First reports. Spivey, whom Honda is providing to OMI on a two-year loan, will help the institute “work with manufacturers to match and solve their technical needs with the exceptional resources available in the state of Ohio,” the article said.
