Governor Kasich overhauls Ohio's workforce development system
In Executive Order 2012-02K, signed last Thursday, Ohio Governor John Kasich created the Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation (OWT) as well as the Governor's Executive Workforce Board. The OWT will serve as a single point of entry for those seeking either training or skilled employees, while the new board will oversee the implementation of the state's new workforce development system and provide recommendations for improvements.
