General Electric recently announced that it will bring up to 2,000 high-paying jobs to Greater Cincinnati for a new U.S. Global Operations Center, Cincinnati.com reports. The company already has "its GE Aviation headquarters and 9,000 employees in Evendale." Most of the GE center's employees "will relocate from elsewhere in the United States, but about 300 new jobs also will be created" that will pay "well above $50,000 a year." The company will announce within 90 days the location of the new center. GE is aiming to "break ground this summer and move in by 2017," the article said.
