Free website service offered to Ohio's small businesses

Last week, Google announced a new initiative with local partners including the Ohio Department of Development Small Business Development Centers Network, SCORE, and TechColumbus that allows Ohio businesses the ability to obtain tools and resources to establish a website, locate new customers, and promote growth.

The program is called Ohio Get Your Business Online and offers a service where Ohio businesses can obtain a complimentary website.  Google partnered with Intuit to provide its popular Intuit Websites offerings that include an easy-to-build website, customized domain name, and web hosting for one year. Participants also receive a local business listing on Google Places and free tools, training, and resources.
