Four Hamilton companies pledge to bring more than 250 jobs to the region by the end of 2015

This year, four Hamilton companies have pledged to create more than 250 total jobs in the area by the end of 2015, The Hamilton JournalNews reports. The pledges are as follows: Thyssenkrupp Bilstein, 100 jobs; Valeo, 105 jobs; Ascendum Solutions, 45 jobs; and Roadrunner Transporation, 10 jobs. The city council approved a local job creation tax credit for Valeo earlier this year and one for ThyssenKrupp Bilstein last month (See our Aug 26, 2013, blog post for more information).
