Flavoring company plans to spice up Greater Cincinnati operations with $34 million expansion and 100 new jobs

Mane Inc., “[o]ne of the largest flavor and fragrance companies in the world,” plans an expansion to its Lebanon, Ohio operations that includes a $34 million investment and 100 new jobs, the Cincinnati Business Courier reports. The company, part of France-based Mane SA, “is expanding its facility to increase its dry and seasoning product line,” according to the article. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority recently approved a two-year extension of Mane Inc.’s 50 percent, seven-year job creation tax credit; the company was one of several Cincinnati-area companies recently granted tax credits from the Authority (see our March 31, 2016 blog post). Brad Kelley, president of Mane, said in a news release, “[t]he growth of Mane in the Greater Cincinnati area has been a truly remarkable success story for the local economy. The support we have experienced from the city of Lebanon, Warren County and the state of Ohio has helped fuel our success in the flavor and seasoning industry.” For more, read the full article
