Diane Lease Named Chief Legal Counsel of the Ohio Department of Development

Earlier this morning, Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) Director Christiane Schmenk announced that Diane Lease will serve as Chief Legal Counsel of ODOD, the position formerly held by Christiane. In this role, Diane is responsible for overseeing ODOD’s legal staff and operations, in addition to serving as a fiduciary to the Director in advising and implementing legal policy. 

Before joining ODOD, Diane was Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office and General Counsel for the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund. Diane began her career in private practice.
