Crosley Building $50M redevelopment plan gets key approval

Cincinnati Planning Commission unanimously approved a zone change for the “$50 million conversion of the Crosley Building to artists’ lofts,” a “crucial step that would allow for the adaptive reuse of the building as a mixed-use building with upper floor multi-family residential uses and ground floor commercial uses,” the Cincinnati Business Courier reports. Indianapolis-based real estate company TWG plans to convert Crosley Radio Corp.’s former headquarters into “175 to 250 apartments, with a focus on providing units to artists,” according to the article. TWG plans to restore the 1928 building and will apply for state and federal historic tax credits as well as Low-Income Housing Tax Credits for the project. For more, read the full article.
