With existing locations in Columbus, Cleveland and West Chester, Bricker & Eckler today announced the opening of its newest Ohio location at 258 Front St. in Marietta, The Marietta Times reports. Christopher Slagle, partner in charge of the Marietta office, said an eagerness to give back to and help create prosperity within southeast Ohio drove the decision to expand there. The firm moves into Washington County with 350 active clients in the region covering areas such as health care, education, water districts, manufacturing, banking and other public and private entities. Associate Matt Warnock, who worked to help organize the Southeastern Ohio Landowners Association (SEOLA) and then negotiate 10 leasing deals with six different oil and gas companies involving nearly 70,000 acres, said that oil and gas matters will also account for a significant amount of activity in the Marietta office.
